When you participate in our insurance programs, you have the option to donate your annual dividends1 — a choice that directly supports law-related research, education, and community-serving organizations. You can also support ABE through direct contributions. Whether large or small, every gift helps advance equal access to justice and strengthen the legal profession’s impact.

Here’s how you can get involved:

Donate your dividends¹ from ABE-sponsored insurance.

  • When you apply for one of the group insurance coverages (life, disability, etc.) in the program, you’re eligible for annual dividends.1
  • Unless you ask for a refund, your share of those dividends is assigned to ABE for charitable giving.
  • You also receive a donation acknowledgment, and these contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Apply for an Opportunity Grant.

  • If there is a legal need in your community that you are passionate about, you can apply for an Opportunity Grant to support local, urgent projects.
